Claim

Chouraqui (Order of the Earth, 2016, §4 pp. 67–69) argues that hyper-dialectic is not just an ontological position but the theory of the relation between philosophy and non-philosophy — the late lecture course "Philosophy and Non-Philosophy" (1960–61) gives hyper-dialectic its proper home. The proper object of phenomenology is "no longer the blosse Sagen, but the very movement by which constitution always leads into reduction and vice versa, a movement that is none other than the earth itself as a principle of self-precedence." Philosophy recuperates itself by finding room for itself within the structure of being — the Cartesian and Husserlian "bad dialectic" (which Chouraqui diagnoses as both pure separation and pure identity of the two orders, "identical moves, illusory") is overcome only when philosophy admits a non-philosophical outside that is also already its inside.

Counterpressure / Limits

  • The cross-text coherence (V&I + 1960–61 course + the Order of the Earth reading) is reconstructive, not stated by MP himself — Chouraqui's "purely historical" disagreement with Barbaras (fn. 31) hides whether MP held this position consistently or as a working draft (cf. companion claim claims#chouraqui-vs-barbaras-on-mp-dynamic-ontology).
  • The "recuperation" image is rhetorically powerful but philosophically thin — what does it mean for philosophy to "find room for itself within being"? Chouraqui glosses but does not systematize.
  • The existing claims#non-philosophie-as-empietement-of-refused-world already locates the philosophy/non-philosophy theme via empiètement; the present claim's reading via recuperation is a different conceptual figure — needs to be related rather than collapsed.
  • The blosse Sagen (mere saying) reading depends on a Husserlian register that may not transfer cleanly to MP's project.

Payoff

The claim makes hyper-dialectic visible as a meta-theory about philosophy's relation to its outside, not just a description of MP's late ontological method. This re-organizes hyper-dialectic to track three layers: (i) the ontological-position layer (existing); (ii) the meta-theory layer (this claim); (iii) the unification with the recognition-and-institution operator (queued for future supported promotion via the Chouraqui-homology family). For Paper A's indirect-ontology problem-space framing, this is load-bearing.
