The claim reframes the difficulty of MP's late prose: standard readings treat the difficulty as residual unfinished-ness (since V&I is unfinished); Dufourcq's reading treats the difficulty as load-bearing performative content — the prose enacts what the ontology says, namely that being is not a substance to be specified but a question-space to be sustained.
