Claim

The PPH course (1947–48) — with its central concept individu de classe (PPH p. 184–192), its formulation "Gestalten qui orientent le développement historique sans le nécessiter," and its anti-fatum / anti-pure-objectivism articulation of logique de l'histoire — is the direct conceptual predecessor of the 1954–55 Institution dans l'histoire personnelle et publique course. The 1955 Institution course's formulation "Nouveauté de cette conception [l'institution], donc, à l'égard d'une philosophie de l'histoire fondée sur conscience (Hegel)" (cited by Dalissier) is the retrospective MP judgment on his own PPH project: institution as a Stiftung corrects what PPH could only formulate as individu de classe + logique de fait. The 1947–48 PPH formulation is the marxist-register predecessor of the Husserlianized 1954–55 institution.
