Claim

Husserl's Horizont (the inner/outer horizon of the perceptual object) is transformed along (at least) two independent post-Husserlian axes: Merleau-Ponty's ontological-dimensional axis (horizon, horizons-of-language) and Gadamer's historical-hermeneutic axis (fusion-of-horizons, Sprachlichkeit). The structural convergence is precise: both generalize the perceptual horizon past perception, and both deploy the generalized horizon against relativism / imprisonment — MP per Kee's gloss: "the horizons, not the limits, of my language" (Kee p. 80, his own formulation modifying Wittgenstein — attribution corrected 2026-07-26); Gadamer: "the hermeneutical experience is the corrective by means of which the thinking reason escapes the prison of language" (p. 458). The divergence is the grounding register: MP's perceptual-ontological flesh vs. Gadamer's tradition-and-dialogue. The two are thus candidates for a cross-tradition cousin relation (rejection + substitute-form align; grounding axis diverges registrally) rather than a shared mechanism.

So the MP leg's "post-Husserlian" character rests on an unclosed page question plus a 2025 commentator's Wittgenstein-inversion — the very gap the claim advertises itself as filling (Payoff bullet 1). (c) The weave run's own criterion cuts against the pair. Pair 4 (personalism↔flesh-as-element) was refused Latent-Adjacent because "shared enemy ≠ shared positive form" (wiki/.audit/weave-pass3-2026-06-02.md line 53). Applied symmetrically to Pair 1, what is genuinely shared is the enemy (imprisonment-by-language); the positive substitute-forms differ in kind — Gadamer's is the verbally constituted hermeneutical experience as corrective, backed by the universality of reason (p. 458 / arg #7), while MP/Kee's is a dilatable expressive horizon grounded in perceptual-expressive solicitation (PbP 49, 205). Note also that the ingest itself flagged this parallel with "do NOT assert as settled" and asked whether MP's and Gadamer's relativism-arguments "are doing the same work" (extraction note line 951) — a question no artifact has since answered. The entry's Counterpressure currently records only (1) the Latent-Adjacent cap, (2) the Abschattungen level-boundary, (3) secondary mediation of the MP anchor, (4) single primary source. None of these defeats the ancestry rival (a) or the shared-opponent deflation (c), and (3) understates (b): the issue is not merely that the MP anchor is Kee-mediated but that the quoted formula is Kee's own construction against a non-Husserlian opponent. Nothing has been added to the entry since 2026-06-02, and both wiki homes still render the claim as candidate with the cap stated as constitutive (claims#post-husserlian-horizont-triangle Counterpressure bullet 1 and Status History 2026-06-02; wiki/concepts/horizon.md line 49). Promotion to live should wait on (i) a first-hand MP passage (not Kee's paraphrase) tying the linguistic horizon to Husserl's Horizont, and (ii) a Gadamer passage showing the horizon he generalizes is Husserl's perceptual one rather than the Nietzschean/Diltheyan historical one. Until then "two independent post-Husserlian axes" is not the best explanation of the cited evidence; hold at candidate.
