Saint Aubert's promiscuité de l'Être (his reading of MP's reception of Piaget's confusion, SA-2006 Ch. VI §3a–§3c) and Hegel's mature Anerkennung of Phenomenology §§670–671 (mutual confession/forgiveness) are cross-tradition cousins. Aligned rejection axis: both refuse asymmetric-dominance figures — on the Hegel side, the master-slave figure of §§186–196, superseded at §§670–671; on the MP/SA side, Piaget's confusion (a deficiency-figure) reversed into positivity. Aligned substitute axis, stated in a neutral shared descriptor: both install a reciprocal mutual-implication in which each pole's standing is constituted by the other — glossed on the MP side as mutual permeation (topological register) and on the Hegel side as mutual confession/forgiveness (moral-confessional-religious register). The "topological" qualifier holds on the MP side only; the registral divergence is the cousin pair's defining feature, not a defeater. Counterpressure / Limits
- The MP member may be Saint Aubert's overlay rather than a structure in Merleau-Ponty (juror R's residual, the strongest): promiscuité de l'Être is SA's coinage-reading of MP's reception of Piaget's confusion; the sibling claims#promiscuite-active-ignorance-as-the-unsaid-of-empietement carries exactly this as its first Counterpressure bullet and is single-source in the same way. No item in the registration repair set touches this — the set fixed which volume the attestations sit in, not whose structure they attest.
- The bidirectionality check has never been run — a limitation on the substitute axis (juror G's residual, re-axed 2026-07-28): across SA-2006's eleven promiscuit* attestations, if the figure is predominantly one-directional encroachment, then the MP member does not install the reciprocal mutual-implication the substitute axis asserts, and the cousinhood fails there — and unlike every other defect this one is not repairable, because it would mean the pair was never there. G raised it as the falsification condition's own nominee; at the 2026-07-28 review the falsification condition was re-authored onto the rejection axis it names, and this check is retained here as the separate substitute-axis limitation it always was. It is not a rejection-axis test: MP could refuse Piaget's deficiency-figure (the rejection axis) while installing something other than reciprocity.
