Claim
Per Chouraqui 2025 §4, the standard normative double-bind — a norm must be both justified (grounded, not arbitrary) and selective (able to rank configurations of meaning) — "is only problematic for univocal ontologies, ontologies where things either are or are not, with no in-between." Because MP's ontology is one of becoming / equivocity rather than univocal being — reality includes possibilities, not only objects and facts — configurations of meaning can be assessed by how well they fulfill world-making (hermeneutic fertility vs. sterility), without the ontology committing to theodicy ("everything that is is justified") or to fatalism.
