Supported-Layer Re-Verification Sweep — 2026-08-18 (OPS-020)

The Case-3 companion decision of the v0d.36 amendment, executed: the 23 pre-jury supported entries — all promoted through pre-v0d.24 user-confirmed paths, 2026-04-29 → 2026-06-23, before Rule 21 (v0d.33) and the pagination-oracle family — are swept through read-only citation-verifier seats (one per entry, every Evidence bullet) rather than grandfathered. Provenance: wiki/.audit/jury-calibration-2026-07-28.md §8 addendum (user-authorized same-day); NEXT.md OPS-020; schema-changelog v0d.36 Case-3 companion decision. No jury runs here and no promotion is possible from this sweep — the only status move this run may make is supported→contested for an evidence-chain break that cannot be repaired from the available artifacts, under the standing post-hoc veto. Repairs are applied by the main thread per Rules 21/16 with Updated: bumps per Rule 3; every repair below was re-verified against raw by the main thread before application (seats nominate; raw authorizes).

Seat configuration: citation-verifier, register-pinned (Opus 5, xhigh, frontmatter-inherited; no call-time overrides). Roster: the 23 entries at Status: supported in wiki/claims.md as of 2026-07-28 — the current supported set is identical (no jury promotion has ever added to it).

Veto protocol: every row below is vetoable — name the item ("veto <slug> <repair>") and it is reverted; a restatus row (if any) demotes back with a user veto Status History line. Silence past this digest is consent (v0d.24).

1. §6 item 4 — the item-01 seat conflict, adjudicated FIRST

Conflict: the calibration verifier PASSed hegel-arbeit-anchors-capital-as-phenomenology-motif's Inédits II bullet (the Capital-formula attestation, cited "Mexico II p. 304") because the extraction note's anchor matched the bullet; the evidence-chain refuter alleged a ~32-page locator transposition into Mexico III. (The H&T Ch. IV English formula bullet, raw l. 1019, was PASSed by both and is untouched.)

Adjudication (main-thread raw check): the refuter is right on the lecture version; the verifier's PASS was anchored on the extraction note's own locator collision. The printed page numbers took two derivations to pin.

  • The formula — Le Capital est une « phénoménologie de l'esprit concrète » — occurs exactly once in the Inédits II raw: line 5049, after the [CONFÉRENCES À MEXICO, TROISIÈME VERSION] heading (l. 4610), on the PDF page opened by marker {336}Mexico III, inside §V Les antinomies de l'histoire.
  • The cited "Mexico II p. 304" region carries the Brest-Litovsk / quantity-into-quality material; the Mexico II parallel at l. 4492/4538 has objectivisme du Capital but no formula. Source of the error: extraction note .extraction-…inedits-ii…md line 363 assigned "Mexico II p. 304" to the formula while line 382 assigned the same locator to the (correct) violence passage — a locator collision from ingest.
  • Pagination, first derivation (superseded): calibrating on two wiki citations the calibration refuter had treated as independently correct (PPH p. 128; Ponge Mexico III p. 318), the markers read as printed folios → p. 337 / PPH p. 180. Second derivation (final): the pph-entry sweep seat independently derived, and the main thread re-derived from the volume's own SOMMAIRE at twelve anchors (printed 31→343), the true oracle: printed = raw {N} PDF marker + 4, uniform across the volume — the two "calibration" wiki citations shared the systematic −4 undercount, so the first derivation was circular. Final locators: formula = Mexico III p. 340 (§V spans printed 337–342 ✓); PPH variant (raw 2873, no « concrète ») = p. 183, not p. 178/180.
  • The extraction note's whole Inédits II locator column appears to read PDF markers as printed pages (−4): corpus-wide sweep routed to the next audit Citations phase (§5), with the oracle now registered in wiki/.audit/pagination-oracles.md.

Applied: claim bullet re-pinned (Mexico III p. 340 + PPH p. 183, formula re-quoted with the raw's guillemets); extraction-note line 363 corrected at source with a dated marker. Verdict recorded against the calibration verifier's PASS — the run-7 MP&CP precedent (adjudicate the oracle over a dissenting seat), with the dissent inverted; and the run's own first pagination derivation caught and corrected in-session by a second seat's independent check — the sweep design working on its own operator.

2. §6 items 2–3 — calibration repair queue, discharged

All repairs main-thread re-verified against raw before application. Entries touched: 2 supported (sb-1942-kinetic-melody-origin, mp-flesh-not-husserl-leib), 3 live (hegel-arbeit…, hegel-mature-recognition…, etre-not-monde…); propagation surfaces: master-slave-dialectic.md, recognition-and-institution.md, saintaubert-2023-etre-et-chair.md (source page), and three extraction notes.

# Entry / surface Defect (calibration finding) Repair applied
2.1 sb-1942… Evidence b3 Re-ordered composite handed the melody's predicate to the excitation-elements (Rule 21 composite-paraphrase-in-quotes); manufactured the very identification the anchor was to prove Re-quoted verbatim from SB raw 982 + 984; defect's extraction-note source (.extraction-…structure-of-behavior.md l. 144) corrected with dated marker
2.2 sb-1942… Evidence b7 "All four chunk extraction notes … HUB-weight … independently" — CHUNK-D records no melody attestation; CHUNK-A is STRUCTURAL Corrected to three-of-four with accurate weights (B/C HUB, A STRUCTURAL; anchors verified at chunk-note lines 228/269/171; CHUNK-D grep = 0)
2.3 sb-1942… Evidence b8 motifs.md pre-ingest-state leg unverifiable (the ingest overwrote the state it describes) Leg struck; D-D (extraction 109–110) and Beith (source page 51–53) legs re-anchored and retained
2.4 mp-flesh… Evidence b2 fn 9 attributed an Être et chair II cross-reference it does not contain (fn 9 = raw 173, cites Du lien des êtres 2004 alone; E&C II cited at fns 27/56/57/74/82/85/86/107) False conjunct struck; fn-9 content quoted verbatim; extraction-note "E&C I" misrecordings (l. 75–76, 977) and source-page fn-8/§ mislabel (l. 103) corrected at source
2.5 mp-flesh… Evidence b3 2021-volume bullet anchorless; asserted corpus-survey basis absent from the 2021 artifacts Re-anchored to the volume's actual thematic content (extraction ll. 79–98 Leibhaftigkeit rewriting; 254 title reversal; 815–837 April 1960 anti-Husserl notes), direction-of-fit flagged for the future jury
2.6 hegel-arbeit… Evidence b1 + Claim ¶195 quoted with transposed head clause and dropped emphasis Re-quoted to Pinkard's exact characters (raw 1552); Claim's quoted fragment de-quoted to exact substring
2.7 hegel-arbeit… Evidence b2 S&NS bullet quoted the source page's re-ordered headline + a three-clause composite as MP's words Re-quoted as four separately-marked verbatim spans from raw 861/865
2.8 hegel-arbeit… Evidence b4 (AdV) "Lukács chapter the consolidated development" — no locator; formula's sole AdV occurrence is the translator's introduction quoting H&T (raw l. 107) Bullet struck; AdV removed from the entry's Sources; finding recorded in Counterpressure (motifs.md's own AdV attestation queued as a separate check, §5)
2.9 master-slave-dialectic.md l. 47 Same ¶195 re-ordering; PLUS a second defect found in-run: "for the laboring consciousness, the object becomes its own being-for-itself" exists nowhere in Pinkard, cited ¶196/l. 1554 Both quotes replaced with verbatim ¶195 text (raw 1552); page updated bumped
2.10 hegel-mature… Title + Claim "a reciprocal recognition which is absolute spirit" attributed to §671; it closes ¶670 (raw 4075–4080; ¶671 opens 4082) — the entry contradicted its own Evidence b1 Title/Claim corrected to §§670–671 with per-paragraph attribution; emphasis restored to Pinkard's characters
2.11 hegel-mature… Evidence b1 §650 sub-anchor at l. 3972 is ¶649; confession material is §666 Re-pinned: §650 (l. 3974, being-known) + §666 (l. 4056, confession/reciprocated speech), both quoted verbatim
2.12 hegel-mature… Evidence b2 Article substituted inside the Pinkard quotation; "explicitly identifies … constitutive structural endpoint" overreaches reportage-of-Hegel Re-quoted exactly (raw 355); characterization re-scoped as the entry's inference; Counterpressure gains the in-corpus Pinkard generative-model anchor (chunk-01 extraction l. 16)
2.13 recognition-and-institution.md ll. 104/122 Inherited §671 mis-attribution Both sites corrected to §§670–671 with ¶670-close attribution; page updated bumped
2.14 etre-not-monde… Evidence b2 VI 198 glossed as the title hesitation (fn 80's content); VI 198 is the invisible-of-this-world passage (fn 81 = raw 441) Re-characterized with the verbatim French passage (datalab V&I l. 1005); title hesitation re-homed to fn 80
2.15 etre-not-monde… Evidence b3 + Sources EM false-friend: EM = Être et Monde (BNF ms; SA fn 20 = raw 217), not Eye and Mind (OE) Bullet re-anchored to SA fn 80 (raw 439) + extraction anchors (SA-2023 l. 133; SA-2021 l. 1293) + Poetic-of-the-World rendering (raw 2420 n. 42); [[merleau-ponty-1961-eye-and-mind]] removed from Sources
2.16 etre-not-monde… Claim "habite, soutient et rend visible" dropped MP's clitic pronouns Re-quoted "l'habite, le soutient et le rend visible" (Rule 21); SA's "ce qui rend sensible le monde" verified exact at raw 431

Status changes from §§1–2: none (all five entries retain their status; Updated: bumped on all five + three pages).

3. Roster verification (23 supported entries)

One citation-verifier seat per entry, every Evidence bullet, current register state (i.e. post-§2 repairs for sb-1942… and mp-flesh…). Seat verdict columns give the seat's per-bullet tallies; Disposition records what the main thread (or the user-authorized repair delegate, marked ᵈ) applied after re-verification. No entry was restatused: every evidence-chain defect found was repairable from the available artifacts. All 23 entries retain supported.

Entry Seat verdicts (per bullet) Disposition
brentano-as-erste-anstoss-of-seinsfrage 2 PASS, 2 FAIL REPAIRED: 1968-text bullet re-linked to heidegger-1968-zeitverstaendnis-in-der-phaenomenologie + narrowed to Brentano-primacy; false "S&Z p. 38 Brentano footnote" corrected (note thanks Husserl; sole Brentano cite = p. 215 §44a); Richardson-Brief bullet gained GA 11 wikilink + locators; Sources re-pointed; cite-back labels synced at seinsfrage ×2 + franz-brentano (+ stale "not in raw/" note fixed); promotion note's gloss-in-quotes recorded, historical line left as written
circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology 2 PASS, 1 FAIL, 1 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: headline V&I quote re-quoted verbatim — "negative ontology" → MP's "negative theology" (corruption inherited from Chouraqui's own transcription, raw AMB 2310; fixed also at extraction :306 + circulus-vitiosus-deus :44); Lingis's actual note headings restored; BGE §56 re-anchored to the ingested Stanford text with Chouraqui's rendering attributed; Sources swap friedrich-nietzschenietzsche-1886-beyond-good-and-evil; Chouraqui's endnote-1 "allusion" wording recorded in Counterpressure
coherent-deformation-universal-operative-form 6 PASS, 1 FAIL REPAIREDᵈ: B5 essay label (quote sits in "On the Phenomenology of Language", not "Indirect Language") + same fix in Claim; Claim's three-element-recurrence overstatement narrowed to the two attested elements at PoP 597–641; B6 marginal-marker elision marked; register-added bold flagged once for the whole Evidence section
ga11-kehre-as-sachverhalt-not-biography 1 PASS, 2 FAIL REPAIRED: headline Richardson quote re-quoted to Heidegger's exact German (the register had filled the upstream marked ellipsis with an invented relative clause); locators p. 152 → ~149 and p. 155 → ~151 (GA 11 +12 oracle, TOC-pinned; p. 155 sits in the Kojima letter); Claim's italic German restored to marked-ellipsis form; GA 11 extraction locator conventions routed to audit Citations
gw11-as-uniquely-canonical-doctrine-of-essence 2 PASS, 2 FAIL REPAIRED: unanchorable Encyclopedia-Logic bullet struck to Counterpressure as an explicit limit (Rule 16); Lasson misdescription corrected against GW 11's own sigla, Hoffmeister dropped as unattested; B2 line re-pinned to 360 with register-added bold removed; sigla (6431–6435) + GW 21 editorial report (5786) added as direct corroboration; confidence held at high on the multiply-anchored core
hegel-1807-vs-1831-self-correction-abstract-absolute 1 PASS, 1 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: three unattested quotation-marked strings (GW 9 apparatus heading; fuller German context; the maintainer's second English rendering) reduced to the user-print-attested phrase + Pinkard's in-corpus English; Pinkard's "not to be reworked" qualifier quoted and weighed as new Counterpressure; Counterpressure's spurious "that" de-quoted; cite-back added at g-w-f-hegel (§6 item 6 discharged). The GW 9 German leg now states its archive-bound maintainer-attestation basis plainly — the known hard case, kept at supported/medium on the user's recorded ratification
heidegger-1973-parmenides-retraction 1 PASS, 1 UNCERTAIN REPAIREDᵈ: Claim's fused "ruhige Herz" composite re-quoted verbatim (ZSD 1014) and re-keyed as Heidegger's prose, not Parmenides Fr I; B1's dropped editorial bracket marked; B2's bare assertion anchored (ZSD 182–184, 990–1014, 1303–1311)
indirect-ontology-blondel-not-heidegger 2 PASS, 2 FAIL REPAIRED: register-introduced "1957" reading-notes date corrected to SA's début-1961 (raw 1165; the conflation cut against the entry's own thesis); the February 1959 note's French composite split into SA's actual quotation (raw 1053) + the Lingis-English tail at V&I 179 (no French wording of the tail exists in the corpus); 1956-cours locators re-pinned to §2b
ineinander-universalizes-institution 1 PASS, 1 FAIL, 2 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: B3's gloss-in-quotes de-quoted (only "Mutual inherence." is quoted at extraction :334 — marked upstream as the note's own gloss); B2 re-anchored on Pass-2c quotations (extraction I&P :161, :226) with Pass-2b lines labeled as derivation; B4's excised em-dash parenthetical restored; B1's PoP quote re-rendered to the raw's characters with the OCR divergence noted
ingested-corpus-four-element-gap 13 PASS, 4 FAIL, 4 UNCERTAIN (21 decomposed rows) REPAIRED: top-line four-element gap RE-VERIFIED against the current ~30-note corpus — HOLDS; taddio-2025-art-and-psychology is the new nearest miss (16 science-secrète lines, 0 coherent-deformation, 0 Stiftung); the 18-row table framed as the frozen 2026-04-28 snapshot with per-cell drifts named; gap 1 scoped to snapshot (defeated for the current corpus by taddio), gap 2's engager count now eight; stale Faul/Heinbokel Counterpressure bullets corrected
ip-pop-architectural-hierarchy 2 PASS, 2 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: extraction-note Husserl misattribution corrected (I&P raw 219 predicates the dependence of MP; Husserl only "slow to separate himself") here + at the Pass-2b source; C1-A12 Stiftung gloss replaced with MP's direct raw attestations (PoP 700/781; raw 734 carries no Stiftung); Title/Claim dates 1958–61 → 1959–61; the long-outstanding "p. 79 malaise" Rule-18 check DISCHARGED (raw 810, printed [82], inside C1-A14's cited range)
kaushik-stiftung-literary-frame 2 PASS REPAIREDᵈ: condensed "ontology before formal ontology" replaced with Kaushik's verbatim sentence (raw 266); Claim's "two ingested books" corrected (monograph + journal paper) and the Stiftung+chiasm conjunction split per what each side anchors (2021 artifacts carry zero Stiftung); sentence-initial capital restored
malraux-schema-precedes-mp-coherent-deformation-philological-refinement 4 PASS, 1 FAIL REPAIREDᵈ: "Signs p. 80" raw-marker-as-folio fixed to printed 54 (Claim + B3); stale "376" residue → 348; three quotation-fidelity fixes incl. restoring MP's own philologically load-bearing quotation marks around "coherent deformation"
mp-flesh-not-husserl-leib 3/3 PASS (post-repair) VERIFIED after the §2 repairs — the seat confirmed the fn-9 strike, the re-anchored 2021 bullet, and the extraction/source-page corrections all land; one residual gloss-in-quotes (the Leibhaftigkeit translation gloss) de-quoted
mp-heidegger-reception-archivally-thin 2 PASS, 1 FAIL, 1 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: B4 section label Ch. I §2 → Ch. III §1 (+ extraction :105); B2 range fixed («sans aspérité» at 1025) and the English "transparent." replaced with SA's French; Claim's slash-composite de-quoted; B3 gains SA's hedges («elliptique», «équivoque») + the reading-lists-vs-notes dating; false Heinbokel absence-claim fixed (+ source page :150 propagation)
mp-painter-as-primary-witness-for-indirect-ontology 7 PASS, 1 FAIL REPAIRED: B3 locator raw 75 → 51+55 and the γ-renamed §"Painting as Enacted Unity" anchor re-pointed (stale twin at indirect-ontology :26 fixed); Claim quote located; four quotation-fidelity fixes (added italics, em-dash spacing, V&I asyndetic join, title quote span)
nov-1960-stiftung-grammatical-subject 2 PASS REPAIRED: two supplied sentence-final periods removed from the headline quotation — load-bearing for a philological entry whose analysis names "Then" a consequence-marker; the clause now stated as asyndetic; Fr locator 320–321 → 321 (French raw's own index) + oracle line fixed; the long-outstanding French-original check PERFORMED and CONFIRMING (French raw 2712/2714); propagation fixed at stiftung ×2 (incl. a wrong line cite) + institution-and-ineinander
plato-virtue-teachability-staged-twice 3 PASS REPAIRED: condensed "without understanding" re-quoted per the 100b close ("not accompanied by understanding", raw 25867) with the 88b different-context occurrence noted; B3 case-change marked; upstream Meno extraction :54/:65 corrected
pph-as-direct-predecessor-of-institution-1955 1 FAIL, 2 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: PPH printed pages re-pinned per the NEW Inédits II +4 oracle (186/189/192/195 — all four texts verbatim); dropped "historiques" restored to the Gestalten quotation; the anti-Hegel marginal note re-attributed from merleau-ponty-2010-institution-and-passivity (no such text there) to Dalissier's Inédits II introduction (p. 94) with editorial brackets restored; Dalissier's continuity bullet located + his hedges added; his Stiftung-absent-from-PPH report added to Counterpressure
revolution-and-institution-share-mise-en-question 5 PASS, 2 FAIL REPAIRED: MP's I&P 13 sentence restored verbatim in the Claim (the compressed form was Caraus's recast — the entry's fields disagreed); the false AdV "regime that must contest itself" sub-item struck — the phrase occurs nowhere in the AdV raw, whose nearest passage (AdV 206) runs the opposite valence — and re-anchored to I&P 121's Ultraliberalism sentence (+ propagation fix at revolution-as-another-stiftung); "Revolution is a return to the sources." re-pinned I&P 22 → 12; M-C's rendering attributed as his with his fn-60 source error recorded; printed pages re-pinned per the new M-C +10 oracle
sb-1942-kinetic-melody-origin 6 PASS, 2 UNCERTAIN (post-repair) VERIFIED after the §2 repairs (the raw 982–984 re-quote lands), then follow-ups applied: Buytendijk-Plessner attribution narrowed (n. 59 = Idem → n. 55, Buytendijk alone); Uexkull spelled per the raw + the 1528 sentence completed; CHUNK-C count corrected to seven; the same composite class fixed at CHUNK-A :172; stale motifs.md "six across all four chapters" corrected (no Ch IV attestation)
stendhal-naturalness-practically-resolves-sartre-antithetic 2 UNCERTAIN REPAIRED: Claim quote's unmarked elision restored + folio [167] → [166]v (ILUL start-of-folio convention); extraction-gloss "ambiguity-presence" replaced with MP's verbatim presence-to-ambiguity passage ([167]v); "consent to himself" folio [138] → [137]v here + at 3 propagation sites; B1 range widened to [166]–[168]v; B2 located
valery-mauvaises-pensees-attribution 3/3 PASS + all 4 Counterpressure anchors PASS VERIFIED — the 2026-07-28/08-01 Degas-twin Counterpressure narrowing holds at every anchor; two precision fixes: Claim's "unattested in the corpus" scoped to this passage (the tag exists twice for MP's other Valéry citation); Payoff's coherent-deformation quote fixed with location

ᵈ = applied by the user-authorized Fable repair delegate from seat-verified, main-thread-verified instructions. Run note: the delegate completed 4 of its 10 assigned entries (heidegger-1973, coherent-deformation, kaushik, malraux-schema) before dying on an API 529 overload; the remaining 6 were applied by the main thread from the same instruction set. Spot-checks on the delegate's four: signature repaired strings verified verbatim in place, zero Status:/Confidence:/Claim type: changes anywhere in the working diff. The two seats whose reports the API failure also swallowed (ver-pph, ver-revol) had their full reports relayed by the maintainer in-session; their repairs were applied by the main thread.

4. Companion record item — refuter-verdicts ledger

wiki/.audit/refuter-verdicts-ledger.md created this run (spec design-research/specs-2026-07-28/jury-calibration.md §5; report §6 item 7): one row per refuter seat verdict, runs 1–7 backfilled + the 30 calibration CAL rows, classes per the §5.2 taxonomy. Generator/checker: scripts/build_refuter_ledger.py (--check verifies mechanical columns against the committed verdicts JSONs; --skeleton emits rows for run 8+). Count reconciliation recorded in the ledger header: the familiar 146/146 undercounts run 1 by one seat — the digest's own "All 13 refuter objections (12 gated + valery)" line includes the rescope-harvested valery-eventuel-mode seat — so the seat-level record is 147 historical REFUTED + 30 CAL = 177 rows, zero STANDS.

5. Parked / queued out of this run

  • §6 item 5 (policy): how archive-bound user attestations (the GW 9 print verification) should be anchored so a verifier can trace them — connects to the pagination-oracle register's provenance discipline. Parked for a schema session; not a per-entry repair.
  • motifs.md "Capital comme Phénoménologie" HUB Sources line: whether the motif's AdV attestation stands on MP's text or on Bien's translator's introduction quoting H&T (see repair 2.8). Queued to the next audit Citations phase.
  • §6 item 6 (canary incidental): DISCHARGED — the supported-claim cite-back added to g-w-f-hegel with the not-to-be-reworked qualifier carried.
  • Corpus-wide locator sweeps routed to the next audit Citations phase (each with its oracle now registered in pagination-oracles.md): the whole Inédits II locator column (extraction note + source page — the source page's own "PPH p. 195"/"Sig. p. 404" cites show the same −4 undercount the sweep found); the GA 11 extraction note's Third-Part locators (mixed marker-vs-folio conventions); the Signs raw's ~+25 marker offset (TOC-sweep pending); the extraction-note "Signs p. 68" for raw 1050 flagged by the cohdef seat.
  • Plato raw pending sync: a maintainer fix to the Plato Complete Works raw sits on the Windows machine, not yet transported (git-only transport). The plato entry's repairs therefore cite Stephanus only; the raw lines verified today against the pre-sync local file were 25867 (100b), 25859 (99c), 25628/25630 (88b), 20811 (Euthydemus 282c) — re-derive after sync if raw-line anchors are wanted.
  • kaushik-2021 extraction line 44 carries the same condensed "ontology before formal ontology" string attributed to article pp. 385–386; no raw exists to check it against — left as-is, flagged for the article's eventual raw or a print check.
  • Seat-side source errors recorded, not repaired (they are the sources' own): Mendoza-Canales fn 60 misprints I&P 22 for 12; Chouraqui 2014 raw 2310 misquotes MP's V&I 179 ("negative ontology" for "negative theology") — both now documented in the affected entries' fields.
