Kazimierz Twardowski

Polish philosopher (1866–1938), student of franz-brentano, founder of the Lwów–Warsaw school. His Zur Lehre vom Inhalt und Gegenstand der Vorstellungen (1894) — the content/object distinction within every presentation — is the proximate Brentano-school position the Logical Investigations engages most often and most critically: he appears as a named foil in Investigations II, III, IV, and V.
