Context: Post-ingest audit covering three new sources landed since the 15th run (2026-05-21): Madison 1981 The Phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty (commit 115ac40), Simmel "On Love (a fragment)" 1923 (commit ae4c60a), and Morin 2022 Merleau-Ponty and Nancy on Sense and Being (commit 8f2eb21). Phase 8 walk over each source's Pass 3 Part D candidates, plus discharge of the 15th-run Step 8.5 carryover for [[heidegger-as-silenced-interlocutor]].

Procedure: 3-test gate for candidate → live; 5-test gate for live → supported. Per CLAUDE.md durable rule, supported promotions HALT for human review — no supported promotions attempted this run. Each is single-source within the Simmel corpus (the canonical Mehr-als-Leben articulation in Lebensanschauung 1918 is not yet in raw/). Promotion to live awaits cross-source consolidation — typically a second Simmel attestation or a phenomenological-canon scholar engaging the framework.

This reflects the v0d.9 ingest workflow maturation — concept pages now arrive audit-ready, requiring less Phase 8 backfill than in earlier runs (compare to the 9th-run report's 13 pages needing deep Synthetic Claims additions). Future Phase 8 Step 8.5 sweeps should expect lighter sweeps for fresh ingests and heavier sweeps for legacy pages.

The Step 8.5 upgrades extended existing sections rather than introducing material that would warrant a confidence bump. The 4 live promotions authorise concept-page citations with provisional framing but do not themselves change concept-page confidence values (live ≠ supported; the page-level confidence reflects the page's accuracy as a representation of its sources, not the status of derived claims).
