Claim

The break in MP's political philosophy between Humanism and Terror (1947) and Adventures of the Dialectic (1955) is not over Marxism per se (MP retains the structural critique of capitalism), nor over phenomenology (which deepens rather than weakens), nor over disillusionment as biography.
