Per-pair synthesis

Pair 1 — fusion-of-horizons ↔ horizons-of-language → LATENT-ADJACENT

Husserl's Horizont transformed along two independent post-Husserlian axes. Axes (i) rejection (finite standpoint mis-modelled as limit/wall/prison) and (ii) substitute (open mobile horizon one moves toward, enlarging via fusion/dilation) ALIGN — reinforced by a named common ancestor both explicitly inherit. Axis (iii) grounding DIVERGES registrally: Gadamer (tradition/dialogue/finitude, language-all-the-way-down) vs MP (perceptual-ontological flesh, the floor beneath language). Pair 2 — effective-history ↔ institution → LATENT-ADJACENT

Wirkungsgeschichte and Stiftung/institution: both reject the past-as-object-of-a-sovereign/methodical-subject (shared anti-Hegel flank) and substitute an enclosing historical medium with a belonging/caught-up inheritor (Gadamer's Zugehörigkeit; MP's hinge / "field of fields"). The forward-instituting vs backward-affecting orientation-asymmetry is real but non-breaking — each concept already contains the other's pole ("institution is at the crossing over of an anticipation and of a regression"; the productive ambiguity of wirkungsgeschichtliches Bewusstsein). Axis (iii) diverges registrally (Sprachlichkeit vs flesh/l'être brut). Hostile-scan payoff: institution.md already carries a live false-friend caution that Gadamer uses Stiftung negatively for the artwork (exemption-from-instituting); a careless Iso would collide with that recorded finding — so the surviving parallel is quarantined to the Wirkungsgeschichte axis. Pair 3 — prejudice ↔ sedimentation → LATENT-ADJACENT

The rehabilitated enabling-deposit: both reject the dream of presuppositionless / sediment-free constitution (shared Cartesian-intellectualist enemy) and invert the valence of the inherited deposit into the positive enabling fore-condition (Gadamer's "productive" prejudice; MP's "living stratum, not a fossil"). Axis (ii) is ALIGNED-IN-FAMILY: the shared positive form ("the acquired as enabling fore-structure") holds, though the matter deposited diverges (contentful fore-judgment vs pre-propositional motor-perceptual acquisition) — which is the leading edge of the axis-(iii) registral divergence (tradition-in-language vs body/perceptual field). Pair 4 — personalism ↔ flesh-as-element → PARTIAL (shared-opponent false friend)

Axis (i) ALIGNS (both reject objectification via a third-position-against-a-binary), but axis (ii) OPPOSES: flesh is an anonymous, pre-personal, sub-thetic element (third-as-lower; Carbone: "anonymity innate to Myself," V&I 139), whereas Mounier's person is the singular, supra-individual apex of personhood (third-as-higher). Inverse moves on the personal/impersonal axis — flesh de-personalizes, person hyper-personalizes. The v0d.9 sharpened criterion correctly refuses Latent-Adjacent (shared enemy ≠ shared positive form). This overturns personalism.md's own pre-scan prediction (line 66) of a Latent-Adjacent verdict — the page's bullet must be revised, not supplemented. Engine-terminus check (cross-pair structural-inheritance)

(Per memory project_bridge_card_run4_engine_terminus_pattern: when Latent-Adjacent verdicts cite contemporaneous sibling scans as triangulation, engage cross-pair structural-inheritance before emitting bridge cards, or Pattern #11 fires at sign-off.)

The three Latent-Adjacent pairs (Horizont · Wirkungsgeschichte/institution · prejudice/sedimentation) share a single engine: the post-Husserlian registral fork — Gadamer grounds his post-Husserlian transformations in language/tradition/dialogue (Sprachlichkeit, all-the-way-down), Merleau-Ponty grounds his in flesh/perception (the floor beneath language); both inherit from Husserl (and, via the fore-structure / Yorck, Heidegger). Each scan independently named this fork and cited the others as corroboration.

Are these one cousinhood seen thrice (engine), or three independent cousinhoods (termini)? — Three genuinely distinct termini of one engine.

  • Distinct termini: the three pairs are different concept-contact-points with non-overlapping rejection-substitute content (the inherited Horizont concept; the operative-past structure; the rehabilitated enabling-deposit) and different wiki homes. None is reducible to another.
