Phase 1 — Thesis-Coherence Gap Report (2026-06-07 comprehensive audit)

Scope: Does the wiki's chiasm / reversibility / écart / Stiftung / institution / sedimentation cluster need RE-FRAMING now that four first-of-tradition primaries are in the corpus — principally Husserl, Crisis (first primary Husserl) and Bergson, Creative Evolution (first Bergson/Deleuze primary), plus Klossowski and Chouraqui?

Reader: Phase 4 scoped writers; orchestrator. READ-ONLY pass on wiki content; the only write is this report.

Headline: The two major ingests (2026-06-07) already did most of the cross-referencing a thesis-coherence audit would normally surface. The remaining gaps are concentrated in the synchronic MP cluster pages last touched before 2026-06-07 (reversibility, écart, flesh-as-element) and in wiring the new Bergson concept pages into the MP diachronic cluster. All are typed-connection / source-backfill fixes — no new pages, no rewrites.

(a) HALT-CANDIDATE flag

NO HALT. No thesis-central concept needs a major rethink. The new primaries extend the cluster by genealogy-plus-divergence on both axes; they do not contradict Paper A's architecture.

Synchronic axis (Husserl §53 → chiasm/flesh): MP inherits the paradox structure (subject-for-the-world / object-in-the-world = touching-touched) but refuses Husserl's resolution (the worldless constituting primal ego, §54–55), keeping the subject-that-is-also-object incarnate in the flesh, the non-coincidence held open as écart. This fortifies Paper A's "chiasm as synchronic cross-section that stays incarnate" — it does not unsettle it.
Diachronic axis (Origin of Geometry → Stiftung): MP inherits Husserl's Urstiftung/sedimentation/reactivation triad but inverts the valence (sedimentation: danger → pivot; reactivation: obligation → legitimate transformation). This grounds Paper A's "Stiftung is the diachronic mechanism" in a primary Husserl text it previously lacked, and is consonant with MP's own "tradition is the power to forget origins."

One non-halt structural nuance to register (not a contradiction): the new primaries make the MP↔Husserl relation more divergent than a smooth-inheritance framing implies, on both axes simultaneously (refusal-of-resolution + valence-inversion). This sharpens the wiki's existing internal tension between (i) its own reading — "Husserl–MP genetic continuity intact within the late ontology" (stiftung/chiasm Stakes sections) — and (ii) the dominant secondary reading (Carbone, Fóti, Johnson, Kaushik) that MP departs from Husserl. The new primaries arm both sides: continuity (Stiftung roots in Origin of Geometry; chiasm structurally inherits §53) and divergence (valence inversion; refusal of resolution). This is a productive "inheritance-with-inversion" tension for Phase 4 writers and Phase 8 claims to hold visible — not an architecture-revising contradiction. The contested science-secrete-stiftung-chiasm (γ split) is untouched by the new primaries and is explicitly out of scope.

Using the wiki's closed typed-connection vocabulary. Each is a concrete Phase-4 write.

reversibility → *contrasts with* [[duree]] (replace the unlinked "(Bergson)" parenthetical at reversibility.md line ~160). Content: Bergsonian durée/intuition aims at coincidence (intellectual sympathy placing oneself within the object); MP's reversibility is imminent and never realized — non-coincidence is constitutive. This is the task's "false friend" axis made explicit: a genuine contrast, not a lineage, on the time/coincidence axis. Pair with an Open-Questions / false-friend caution: Bergsonian "becoming" (lived continuous creation, durée) ≠ the cluster's retrograde/instituted temporality, and ≠ Hegelian Werden (Bergson extraction-note Part-D candidate #5).
écart → *is the seed of which Husserl's Ent-Fremdung is the matrix* (reciprocal to paradox-of-human-subjectivity). Husserl's self-alienation / "I called 'I' only by equivocation" (§54b) is the structure MP makes primary and unbridgeable as écart. Use *transforms* or *is a development of* per the in-list vocabulary; add a one-clause Positions note that Husserl reins the non-coincidence back into the absolute singularity of the ego whereas MP keeps it open. Bergson's Galileo (cinematographic intellect + temps-longueur spatialization; "modern science is the daughter of astronomy") and Husserl's Galileo (mathematization burying the life-world) independently diagnose the same substitution, with registral divergence in grounding (Bergson: metaphysics of détente, matter really tends to geometry; Husserl: forgetting of constituting acts). Currently only a one-way [[duree]] *contrasts with* [[mathematization-of-nature]] exists. This is Bergson Part-D candidate #4 + the AUDIT_PLAN-owed Phase-3 "mathematization/Galileo STRUCTURAL motif." Cross-tradition-cousin is the correct register (rejection + substitute align; grounding diverges).
stiftung / institution ↔ [[duree]] / [[elan-vital]] / [[creative-evolution]] (life-as-Stiftung wiring). The prose relation is documented (MP's Course 1 p.62: "What Bergson designates is an institution, a Stiftung, as Husserl would say"), but the new Bergson concept pages are not wired back into the MP diachronic cluster, and the Bergson pages don't link stiftung/institution. Add: on stiftung/institution, *is read retrospectively into* [[creative-evolution]]/[[duree]] (the existing retrograde-movement framing); on duree/elan-vital, *is read by MP as* [[stiftung]]/[[institution]]. Backfill bergson-1907-creative-evolution as a source on stiftung (institution may cite via Nature). This is the Bergson #1 = Husserl #2 intersection the AUDIT_PLAN flags for single shared Phase-8 treatment — do not duplicate.

(e) Positions-section additions

reversibility — add a Bergson Position (currently the contrast is only a Connections parenthetical): Bergson's intuition seeks coincidence with the object's durée; MP holds coincidence "eclipses at the moment of realization." Lets the durée↔reversibility contrast stand as a genuine competing claim about what contact-with-being is, rather than a buried aside. (Genuine competition: same explicandum — the structure of lived contact/time — opposite verdicts on coincidence.)
lebenswelt — DONE, no action. The pregiven-Boden vs constituted-correlate double status is already restored as a Positions/contrast finding (the MP-reading-collapses-it correction). Noted here only to confirm the Husserl extraction-note flag is discharged.
stiftung / ideal-objectivity — optional Positions sharpening (low priority). The "inheritance-with-inversion" nuance from §a could be made a one-bullet Positions entry: the wiki reads Stiftung as preserving Husserl–MP genetic continuity; the new primary text shows the continuity runs through a valence-inversion, which the Carbone/Fóti/Johnson "MP departs from Husserl" camp can read as departure. Both pages already gesture at this in Stakes; promoting it to Positions is editorial, not required.
No new Husserl-vs-MP Positions competition on chiasm/flesh is warranted. The §53 relation is genealogy+divergence (MP refuses a resolution Husserl offers), not two rival answers to one question — correctly handled as Connections + Stakes, not Positions.

(f) Prescriptions for Phase 4 scoped writers (concrete, per-page)

Tier 1 — typed-connection + source backfill (do these first; all are reciprocity repairs for pre-2026-06-07 pages):

stiftung.md + institution.md — link the new duree/elan-vital/creative-evolution pages from the existing Bergson-retrospective subsections; add [[bergson-1907-creative-evolution]] as a source on stiftung; reciprocate from duree/elan-vital (*is read by MP as* [[stiftung]]). Treat as the single shared life-as-Stiftung intersection (Bergson #1 = Husserl #2) — one consolidated treatment, no duplicate entries.

Tier 3 — hand-off to Phase 8 (claims), not Phase 4 writes:

The cluster's two un-promoted Husserl candidates (husserl-paradox-mp-reversibility, origin-of-geometry-stiftung-root) and the intersecting Bergson candidates (life-as-Stiftung, bergson-Galileo-Husserl-cousin, bergson-elan-as-third-position, plus the Being/Nothing false-friend cluster) are correctly deferred to Phase 8 — none is in claims.md yet. The concept pages already carry them as "candidate, flagged for Phase 8" framing, which is schema-correct (candidates must not be used as settled support). Phase 4 writers should keep that provisional framing and not harden any of these into settled typed connections beyond the genealogy/contrast relations above. The intersecting pairs (Bergson#1=Husserl#2 life-as-Stiftung; Bergson#4=Husserl#3 Galileo) must be consolidated, not duplicated, per AUDIT_PLAN.

Do not touch: the γ-contested science-secrete-stiftung-chiasm architecture (out of scope, untouched by the new primaries); the Husserl/Bergson/objectivism pages created 2026-06-07 (already comprehensive).
