Phase 8 Synthetic-Layer Report — Sixth Run, 2026-05-04 (deferred-work pickup)
Run summary
This is the sixth Phase 8 run since the v0c migration introduced wiki/claims.md. The fifth run (2026-05-04, earlier today) deferred two specific work-items: (a) Step 8.5 concept-page upgrades on HUB / thesis-central / supported-anchor pages, and (b) Step 8.9 cite-back to concept pages whose Wiki homes were affected by the fifth run's five supported promotions. This sixth run is the deferred-work pickup; it adds no new claims, makes no new promotions, and does not alter the register's status histogram.
User pre-authorization received: "I pre-authorize any promotions to supported." Honored vacuously — no promotions occurred this run.
Operational mode: Claude Code session with user-supplied authorization for the supported gate; standard subsequent-run protocol.
Trigger: Pickup of work-items deferred from the fifth Phase 8 run earlier today, per the fifth-run report's "Subsequent-run notes": Concept-page Step 8.5 upgrades and Step 8.9 cite-back to HUB / supported-anchor pages deferred to next Phase 8 run.

No changes. This run is a concept-page-side pickup, not a register-side walk.
Walk order — N/A
Per AUDIT_PLAN Phase 8 Step 8.2, this run does not walk new artifacts. The five supported claims and four implicated live-claim contexts whose cite-backs were deferred at the fifth run are the explicit targets of the present run.
Step 8.5 — Concept-page upgrades performed
Five HUB / thesis-central / supported-anchor concept pages received v0d optional-section upgrades. The fifth run identified these pages as candidates for next-run upgrades; this run executes that recommendation. Coverage of optional sections after this run:
| Page | Pre-run optional sections | Sections added this run | Post-run optional sections |
|---|---|---|---|
| chiasm | Stakes + Problem-Space | What the Concept Does + What It Rejects | All four |
| stiftung | What the Concept Does + What It Rejects + Stakes | Problem-Space | All four |
| coherent-deformation | What the Concept Does + Stakes | What It Rejects + Problem-Space | All four |
| circulus-vitiosus-deus | None | What the Concept Does + What It Rejects + Stakes + Problem-Space | All four |
| indirect-ontology | Problem-Space | What the Concept Does + What It Rejects + Stakes | All four |
Notes:
- science-secrete already had all four optional sections from prior runs; no upgrade needed.
- All five upgrades draw from existing Stakes / Connections material on the page, from extraction-note Pass 2a/2b material referenced therein, and from the supported-claim payoffs the fifth run delivered. No new sources were ingested for the upgrades; no claims-register-anchor was created out-of-thin-air.
- The Problem-Space sections satisfy the recurrence-under-different-vocabularies criterion the v0d schema specifies: each Problem-Space section enumerates ≥6 vocabularies for the same problem, with counterexamples to the three classical-attempt resolutions.
- The What It Rejects sections each enumerate ≥6 distinct rival positions, distinguishing structurally-similar-but-not-identical readings (e.g., chiasm's distinction from "correlation in the standard sense" vs from "mystical fusion").
- The What the Concept Does sections each enumerate 5 argumentative jobs, drawing from the page's existing body-text material rather than introducing new content.
Coverage tracking for next runs
After this run, the six core HUB / thesis-central pages all have full v0d optional-section coverage. Pages that may be priorities for the next Phase 8 run's Step 8.5 if it does optional-section upgrades:
- institution — has substantial body but no v0d optional sections per quick survey; would benefit from the same treatment given its load-bearing weight on the wiki.
- fundamental-thought-in-art — thesis-central per Paper A; check coverage status next run.
- ineinander — HUB-level per
motifs.md; check coverage status next run. - flesh-as-element — HUB-level; check coverage status next run.
- hyper-reflection, hyper-dialectic — formally-named methodological correlates of indirect ontology; check coverage status next run.
- indirect-language — touched this run for cite-back; check Step 8.5 coverage next run.
- systeme-d-equivalences — touched this run for cite-back; the page is relatively new (created 2026-04-28); check Step 8.5 coverage next run.
Step 8.9 — Cite-back updates performed
Walked the Wiki homes lists in the five supported claims; updated each cited concept / entity page to reflect supported status. Cite-back rules per AUDIT_PLAN Step 8.9:
liveclaims: provisional citation framing ("see[[claims#claim-slug]](live claim)").supportedclaims: stable citation framing without provisional caveat.- New Synthetic Claims sections created on pages that lacked them.
| Page | Affected supported claims | Action taken |
|---|---|---|
| science-secrete | ingested-corpus-four-element-gap | Updated existing Synthetic Claims bullet from live to supported; revised section preamble; date-bumped to 2026-05-04. |
| coherent-deformation | ingested-corpus, valery-mauvaises, malraux-schema, coherent-deformation-universal | Substantially expanded Synthetic Claims section: 1 live + 4 supported + 1 live (deformation-coherente-mp-coinage was at candidate at last touch but is now live). |
| chiasm | ingested-corpus | Updated Synthetic Claims section: 1 live + 1 supported + 2 live (added schelling-mp-asymmetric-bi-directionality and nov-1960-stiftung-grammatical-subject). |
| stiftung | ingested-corpus, coherent-deformation-universal | Substantially expanded Synthetic Claims section: 5 live + 2 supported (7 total). |
| circulus-vitiosus-deus | circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology | Updated existing Connections bullet; created new Synthetic Claims section. |
| self-falsification | circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology | Updated existing Connections bullet; created new Synthetic Claims section. |
| intra-ontology | circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology | Updated existing Connections bullet; created new Synthetic Claims section. |
| indirect-ontology | circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology | Updated existing Synthetic Claims section to add the supported claim as the lead bullet. |
| systeme-d-equivalences | coherent-deformation-universal | Created new Synthetic Claims section. |
| indirect-language | coherent-deformation-universal | Created new Synthetic Claims section. |
| andre-malraux | valery-mauvaises, malraux-schema | Created new Synthetic Claims section (4 claims: 2 supported + 1 live + 1 candidate). |
| paul-valery | valery-mauvaises | Updated body-text mention; created new Synthetic Claims section. |
12 page-touches for Step 8.9 (5 of which overlap with Step 8.5 page-touches). All updated: frontmatter fields were bumped to 2026-05-04 per General Rule 3 — substantive synthetic-layer cite-backs are not metadata-only backfills.
Targeted raw-source checks
None this run. The deferred-work pickup operates entirely on existing artifacts: the five supported claims' contents, the cited concept pages, and the extraction-note material the supported claims authorize. No Rule 18 raw-checks were triggered because no new evidence chains were assembled.
Duplicate-merge decisions
None this run.
False-friend cautions added
None this run; the existing list at claims.md "False-friend cautions added in this run" subsection is preserved.
Supported-promotion confirmations made
None this run; no new promotions. The five supported claims promoted in the fifth run earlier today are now anchored on their respective concept pages with stable citation framing; this is the cite-back-side delivery of those promotions.
Step 8.8 — Post-Phase-8 confidence addendum
Per CLAUDE.md and AUDIT_PLAN, after Phase 8 completes I should re-pass any concept page or claim entry whose confidence may have changed because of synthetic-layer assembly.
For this run:
Concept-page confidence ratings — none changed:
- chiasm (high) — claim-anchorage stronger; already at top.
- stiftung (high) — claim-anchorage stronger; already at top.
- coherent-deformation (high) — four supported claims now anchored on the page; already at top.
- circulus-vitiosus-deus (high) — supported claim explicitly anchored; already at top.
- indirect-ontology (medium, contested) — supported promotion of circulus claim does not discharge the gaps that justify medium (Saint Aubert 2006 absence; multi-framework ambiguity; H_synth as one position among others). Stays
medium. Stayscontested. - science-secrete (medium, novel) — supported promotion of ingested-corpus does not discharge the gaps that justify medium ((δ) reformulation pending; Nature lectures unindexed for polarity-reversal; Saint Aubert 2006 missing). Stays
medium. Staysnovel. - self-falsification (high, novel) — supported claim adds anchorage. Stays high.
- intra-ontology (high) — supported claim adds anchorage. Stays high.
- systeme-d-equivalences (medium) — supported claim provides a stable architectonic anchor for the page's three-tier framing, but the page is still based on only two sources (E&M + Taddio 2025); the broader system-of-equivalences framing in MP and across secondary literature has not been comprehensively engaged. Stays
medium. - indirect-language (high) — supported claim adds anchorage. Stays high.
- andre-malraux (high) — supported claims add anchorage. Stays high.
- paul-valery (high) — supported claim adds anchorage. Stays high.
Claim confidence ratings — none changed. All five supported claims stay at medium per their respective documented "promotion to high" pathways:
ingested-corpus-four-element-gap: requires expanding the corpus and finding the negative-evidence sustained, or engaging secondary sources beyondraw/(Saint Aubert 2006, Faul, Andén). Not done this run.valery-mauvaises-pensees-attribution: requires a finer philological argument that MP's E&M phrasing paraphrases this exact fragment rather than reconstructing from multiple Pléiade tome II loci. Not done this run.circulus-vitiosus-deus-mp-ontology-of-ontology: requires sustained reading of the GS preface commentary at NC 275–278 against the V&I working notes. Not done this run.malraux-schema-precedes-mp-coherent-deformation-philological-refinement: requires the French Malraux primary source ingested + verified absence of the conjoined phrase in La Création esthétique p. 152. Not done this run.coherent-deformation-universal-operative-form: requires Saint Aubert 2006, Faul, or Andén ingested and shown to corroborate the three-element-cluster reading. Not done this run.
The Phase 7 confidence addendum is therefore zero-delta for this run. The substantive Phase 7 work would require source-base expansion that this run has not done.
Stop conditions
None triggered:
- No untraceable seed candidates (deferred-work run; nothing seeded).
- No Rule 18 raw-check discrepancies (no raw checks performed; existing claim contents unchanged).
- Cap not exceeded (5 Step 8.5 pages + 12 Step 8.9 page-touches; 5 of those overlap; effectively 12 unique page-touches).
Subsequent-run notes
For the seventh Phase 8 run:
- The corpus has now received Phase 8 walks across five distinct waves of ingests (the original 2026-04-27 v0c migration walk; the 2026-04-28 walk; 2026-04-29 third + fourth runs; 2026-05-04 fifth run; this 2026-05-04 sixth run pickup). The
claims.mdregister is now substantially mature: 58 entries, 5 supported, 30 live, 23 candidate. - Next-run priority: identify which candidate claims are closest to live promotion. The 23 candidates include 12 created on 2026-05-04 from the Inédits I + II + Chouraqui 2025 + Heidegger ingests, several of which still have anchoring gaps. The seventh run's Step 8.2 walk should focus on candidate→live promotions where evidence chains have matured since creation.
- Saint Aubert 2006 ingest remains the most consequential
raw/absence. Acquiring and ingesting Vers une ontologie indirecte would unlock multiple supported→high upgrades and would complicate or corroborate the corpus-gap claim. highpromotions are still all blocked. The pathways tohighare documented per supported-claim Status History; each requires source-base expansion.- Step 8.5 coverage tracking: after this run, the six core HUB / thesis-central pages all have full v0d optional-section coverage. Next-run candidates: institution, fundamental-thought-in-art, ineinander, flesh-as-element, hyper-reflection / hyper-dialectic, indirect-language, systeme-d-equivalences — pending coverage status check.
