Phase 1 — Paper A Thesis-Coherence Gap Report (2026-05-16)
Run framing. Fourteenth full audit. Subsequent-run mode (per AUDIT_PLAN.md v1.5 §"Subsequent audit runs differ as follows"). Scope is concepts added or revised since the last full audit (2026-05-05 / Phase 8 thirteenth-run 2026-05-09 + discharge). Delta since 2026-05-09 close: 142 pages with updated: in 2026-05-09→2026-05-16; 41 pages with created: in the same window; 3 major-volume MP source ingests (SnS, ILUL, PbP) plus 1 secondary (Heinbokel 2021).
Audit-mode constraints. Pre-authorized supported-promotion run (AUDIT_PLAN.md PF6 framing under this run's invocation goal): Phase 8 may proceed without per-claim halt; durable CLAUDE.md rule restored after this run. Bridge-card sign-off and apply-mode writes for v0d.7 cards are NOT in scope for this run (carried in wiki/.audit/next-actions.md row 1).

γ-successor claim [[claims#mp-painter-as-primary-witness-for-indirect-ontology]] is at status supported (per 12th-run promotion 2026-05-09); no demotion or re-contestation indicated by the new sources.
Contested claim [[claims#science-secrete-stiftung-chiasm]] remains contested since the γ-decision 2026-05-05. The new PbP and ILUL sources do not re-rehabilitate H_synth: the four-element joint-operation grammar remains absent from MP's published text; PbP confirms that the 1953-54 transition zone is where the diacritical theory of sense begins to operate, but not that the chiasm + Stiftung + science-secrète + painting mutually condition one another in MP's voice. Contested status holds.
2. Quality check — γ-architecture coherence on touched pages
Spot-checked the four heaviest-touched thesis-central pages for γ-architecture alignment. All four reflect the post-2026-05-05 γ split correctly (the 2026-05-09 deep-rewrite pass and the 2026-05-16 PbP/ILUL touch-ups are consistent):

No page requires γ-realignment. Quality verdict: PASS.

The PbP and ILUL philological-foundation gap was the most consequential single absence remaining for Paper A's 1953-55 genealogical middle-term work; both are now closed. The Saint Aubert 2013 and Beauvoir 1949 absences persist but are clearly bracketed.
4. Phase 8 candidate readiness
The three new MP source extraction notes have well-articulated Pass 3 Part D sections supplying 9 high-quality candidate claims at intake (3 each from PbP, ILUL, SnS):

5. Open issues / carry-forward
- None of the new ingests requires a new concept-page stub that does not already exist. PbP/ILUL/SnS produced ~30 new concept pages at ingest-time (per log entries 2026-05-09 / 2026-05-16); thesis-central coverage is complete.
- The single contested claim (
science-secrete-stiftung-chiasm) is not re-rehabilitated by the new sources; contested status holds. - Density-bias diagnosis (2026-05-16) recorded 0 retirements in 36 days at the time of writing. Phase 8 of this run should consider whether any candidate slug aged 17+ days without status-history activity warrants candidate→retire under the new evidence (none surfaced from this presence/quality check, but Phase 8 to verify).
6. Decision point (Phase 1.5)
No structural-rethink stop condition tripped. All thesis-central concepts present, γ-aligned, raw sources in place. Proceed to Phase 2.
