Run scope (fixed at C0)

Register at C0: 303 entries — 23 supported, 144 live, 130 candidate, 1 contested, 5 retired (unchanged since run 1: 2026-07-14 made no status changes; the LI Vol I/II Harvest candidates — 3 + 3 Part-D, plus the deferred material-a-priori seed — sit in extraction notes and clear the 4-candidate micro-Harvest bar, but registration belongs to the next Harvest pass, not to consolidation, which makes no new claims; correctly not yet registered. Corrected 2026-07-26: this note originally said "below the micro-Harvest bar," contradicting NEXT.md).

  • Pregate fix landed first (the OPS-015 recorded next action): consolidation_pregate.py:last_activity() now counts only line-leading Status History dates (mirrors claim_retirement_queue.STATUS_HISTORY_DATE), so (lifecycle backfill 2026-07-11) tail markers no longer read as activity. Two pinning tests added (test_backfill_marker_tail_date_is_ignored, test_mid_line_prose_date_is_ignored); 24/24 pass. Effect: C3 eligibility un-masked — 95 supported-eligible live claims (run 1 saw 0; self-heal would otherwise have waited until 2026-07-25).
  • C1 (subtraction): nothing to apply. Retirement queue at the run-1 continuity window (--staleness-days 60): 121 rows, all keep/staleness, 0 concrete-defect rows (downgrade/retire/merge) — second consecutive clean queue while the register held at 303.
  • C2 (candidate triage): 30 oldest candidates (batch cursor = Updated:, per the run-1 batch-cursor rule). Following the run-1 discharge pattern: the 19 multi-source candidates get the two-agent gate (3-test claim-promotion-reviewer + rival-reading claim-refuter, peer-isolated); the 11 single-source candidates (incl. the four Simmel entries) discharge mechanically as KEEP-with-condition — promotion is impossible under the single-source rule and the concrete-defect scan returned 0 rows.
  • C3 (supported jury): first 5 of 95, oldest-first — valery-implex-genealogy · letting-be-beneath-distinction · language-necessitates-indirect-reduction · pbp-as-pivot-from-language-monograph-to-late-ontology · malraux-metamorphosis-precedes-mp-advent. Full jury per claim: citation-verifier on every Evidence anchor, independent 5-test review, unanimity default-deny refuter panel (evidence-chain / rival-reading / scope). Cap ≤5 promotions; no same-run substitution for blocks.
  • C4: skipped (C2+C3 consume the run's edit budget). Speculate backlog (~48 remaining survivors across ledger batches) and the ~82-row harvest reservoir stay queued.
  • Parked ledger: read at C0 — empty; nothing to unpark.
  • Run deviation (recorded): adjudicatory agents run as Fable (claude-fable-5) at xhigh effort per explicit user instruction this run — consistent with the environment register's "current best model of the adjudicatory profile" reading rule (register last recorded Opus 4.8 [1m]).

Adjudication outcomes (C5, applied 2026-07-26)

Jury completion. The original 63-agent adjudication (wf_81b4545d-850, fable/xhigh) aborted at the monthly spend limit with 52/63 verdicts (salvaged from its journal). The 11 missing C3 agents were re-run 2026-07-26 as wf_68473faa-37c — 11/11 completed, 0 dropped — bringing the jury to 63/63. Second recorded model deviation: the rerun agents ran as Opus 5 (claude-opus-5) at xhigh per explicit user instruction (the salvaged 52 ran as claude-fable-5 at xhigh). Verdicts: consolidation-2026-07-21-salvaged-verdicts.json (merged, 63/63); per-claim apply-doc: consolidation-2026-07-21-adjudications.md (regenerated at 63/63).

Status changes

None. The run promotes nothing, demotes nothing, retires nothing — every gate held. There is no status row to veto; the standing veto still covers every write below (all land in the single run commit and are revertible per entry — say "veto <slug>" to strip that entry's appended objection/lines).

  • C2 gated (19 multi-source candidates): all 19 rival-reading refuters returned REFUTED under default-deny → all stay candidate. Each objection appended verbatim to the entry's Counterpressure; prose Status History line C2 gate blocked at candidate (refuter REFUTED, wf_81b4545d-850 salvage); Updated: 2026-07-21 (batch-cursor rule). Reviewer split for the record: 6 PROMOTE, 3 HOLD, 10 REQUEST-REVISION — every PROMOTE was blocked by its refuter; concrete REQUEST-REVISION fixes applied (see Citation repairs).
  • C2 single-source (11, incl. the four Simmel entries): mechanical KEEP-with-condition discharge — promotion impossible under the single-source rule; each entry got a Status History line naming its own recorded promotion path, Updated: bumped.
  • C3 supported jury (5 claims): all 5 BLOCKED → stay live. Gate requires verifier all-PASS + 5-test PASS + 3× STANDS; refuters went 15/15 REFUTED, and no claim had a clean verifier sheet:

    • malraux-metamorphosis-precedes-mp-advent — verifier 1/2/1 FAIL; REQUEST-REVISION; 3× REFUTED. All 15 refuter objections appended verbatim to Counterpressure (3 per claim); prose Status History lines record the full verdict sheet per entry.

All agent absence-claims relied on by applied objections were re-verified by main-thread grep before apply (source-existence sweep + content-level + quote-level; no false positives found — every absence held).

Rule 16 findings (prominent — citation-fabrication-pattern class)

The C3 verifiers surfaced two Faul-class defects in existing live entries, both repaired in this run per the verifiers' recommendations (quote replaced with the actually-attested text; anchors re-pointed; noted in each entry's Status History):

  1. letting-be-beneath-distinction Evidence bullet 1 carried two verbatim sub-quotes (Arendt LM 2:178 "to want non-willing…"; Heidegger Conversation 75/57 "Gelassenheit is beyond…") that trace to no artifact on disk, with the 75/57 locator attested elsewhere for a different sentence — the real-shell/wrong-content pattern. Replaced with Carbone's actually-attested quotations (raw 949–951; fn 28).
  2. language-necessitates-indirect-reduction Evidence bullet 1 presented a paraphrase as a verbatim Kee p. 87 quotation. Replaced with Kee's actual sentence (raw line 103); the raw article is unpaginated, so §/raw-line locators replace the page cite.

Probable provenance (maintainer, 2026-07-26): likely artifacts of an overeager 15-word-max-quote rule (formerly in the system prompt and snuck into some subagent instructions, since removed) — real passages compressed into quote-marked hybrids that no longer match any text verbatim — rather than free confabulation. The repair standard is the same either way.

  • pbp-as-pivot…: the raw-falsified "PbP 209" attribution of the voice-of-no-one formula corrected to V&I 1968 p. 155 (Valéry verse at PbP 84/86; editors' paraphrase footnote) in the Claim, Evidence, and on wiki/concepts/wild-being.md; Nature 226f. → p. 243; Kee §-locators; "Kaushik 2021" → Kaushik 2019; stale "PbP not in raw/" Counterpressure bullet marked discharged-adverse.
  • malraux-metamorphosis…: Signs cave-sketches locator p. 66 → p. 60 (and the "two pages later (pp. 65–67)" gloss corrected to pp. 68–70) in the entry and on two-historicities.md (4 locators, incl. p. 67 → p. 63 ×2) and metamorphosis-art.md (3 locators).
  • valery-implex-genealogy: Johnson "pp. 91–92" (inherited from Kaushik 2021 n. 16, not reproducible from raw) restated as raw 1194 / marker {111} / printed ~p. 93 in the entry, implex.md, paul-valery.md; I&P "p. 181" disambiguated (English p. 169 = ms 181); implex.md touchstone gloss p. 181 → p. 149.
  • C2 REQUEST-REVISION fixes: Élodie → Annabelle Dufourcq (mp-style-as-bachelardian-provocation + sibling vortex-as-ratio-essendi-of-being); mp-style V&I bullet re-anchored to the interrogative-register passages; dialectical-imagination V&I bullet retargeted to Ch 2 pp. 89–95; stiftung-french I&P bullet tightened to the I&P 8 constitute/institute passage; gestural-expression line-to-quote map corrected (5 passages); pbp-saussure "Husserl se rapproche" re-anchored to the 1951 Signes article + dead wikilink merleau-ponty-1960-signs → merleau-ponty-1964-signs; linguistique bullet 3 re-scoped Robert-mediated
    • bullet 4 re-anchored to the Sept 1959 Saussure-écart note; geological bullet 2 quote-tag ("field of possibilities" is Fava's; literal I&P 68 text is "picture of diverse, complex probabilities"); science-as bullet 6 amended to McCleary's exact wording + location (Signs raw 754); chouraqui bullet 2 qualified "as reported at fn. 31"; bloch I&P bullet located at 5–6; madison bullet 1 re-anchored (raw 2169 Ch IV + Ricoeur foreword 392/404; Ch V has zero Schelling) and the false "Saint Aubert 2021 Schelling thread" leg corrected.

Deviations from the staged plan

  1. Rerun model: opus/xhigh (user instruction) instead of the original fable/xhigh; schemas/prompts/agent-types verbatim, so verdicts merge cleanly.
  2. Lifecycle-line format: the handoff prescribed status: candidate -> candidate / live -> live lines; the v0d.29 parser (wiki_parse._parse_claim_lifecycle) rejects no-op transitions (chain-break → partial fidelity; refresh_baselines.py refuses to ratchet the regression). Recorded as prose Status History lines instead — grammar-correct for non-transition events; content identical.

  • Malraux Voices-side pagination re-derivation pass (its own pass; the PDF-block-vs-printed drift grows through the volume): Voices pp. 72/73 → printed ~68–69/69 across the claim entry, extraction note, source page, two-historicities.md (line 48 + Sources), metamorphosis-art.md, andre-malraux.md; collateral: supported claim malraux-schema-precedes-mp-coherent-deformation-philological-refinement (p. 376 → ~348; p. 392 → ~355). Also two-historicities.md line 28's Museum "transforms efforts into 'works'" (p. 66) — phrase not verbatim-greppable, needs re-derivation.
  • pbp-as-pivot revision set (before any re-jury): add [[merleau-ponty-2020-probleme-de-la-parole]] to Sources with PbP-side bullets (Andén knot-periodization; Robert centre névralgique), restate Counterpressure against the ingested primary text, de-hedge-strip the Claim wording, adjudicate pivot-vs-preparatory against the five 2026-05-16 PbP claims.
  • implex.md line 26 asserts "MP's redeployment carries both registers" flatly while the claim entry hedges — reconcile home to claim.
  • Kee "fn 22" locator (abandonment note): raw's Springer anchor #Fn22 is a different note; prefer a non-numeric locator at next touch.
  • Backfill opportunities named by reviewers: AdV "re-exposed/generalized" second half into the AdV extraction note; Nature pp. 227–228/243 Key Passage; muscle/retina passage into the Johnson extraction note; implex attestations into the I&P extraction note; cave-sketches passage into the Signs source-page Key Passages.
